The Loch Lomond Fisheries Trust (LLFT) is an environmental charity formed in 2001 to champion the conservation and restoration of Loch Lomond's native fish populations, their habitats and the freshwater environment. "Our aim is to maintain and restore aquatic biodiversity in and around Loch Lomond by means of practical, responsible and sustainable approaches to water, land and fishery management based on sound science."

This site is the official resource for the Nith District Salmon Fishery Board and the Nith Catchment Fishery Trust. The Nith Catchment Fishery Trust is a company which has gained charitable status and has been formed to conserve and enhance all native freshwater fish and their habitats located within the inland and coastal waters of the River Nith catchment and the jurisdictional area of the Nith District Salmon Fishery Board.

The River Dee is an internationally important environment for wildlife and is designated a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) for its populations of Atlantic salmon, otters and freshwater pearl mussels. The care of the River Dee is the joint role of the River Dee Trust (RDT) and the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board (DDSFB).

The Dee Catchment Partnership is working to protect, enhance and restore the waters of the River Dee Catchment. These waters include the River Dee, its tributary burns, lochs and wetlands, as well as the habitats and species that depend on them. The River Dee is regarded as one of the cleanest Scottish rivers but impacts from a range of sources have significant collective impacts.

“Working together to protect the Tweed and its tributaries” : Tweed Forum was formed in 1991 "to promote the sustainable use of the whole of the Tweed catchment through holistic and integrated management and planning". In close partnership with our members, Tweed Forum works to protect, enhance and restore the rich natural, built and cultural heritage of the River Tweed and its tributaries.
