The Eco-hydrology Management approach was adopted to manage the quality and quantity of surface run-off within the catchment areas of a massive newly developed administrative city. The Putrajaya Lake and Wetland were constructed to control the quality water with consideration given to the processes of possible source of all pollutant in the catchment including stakeholders' activities. It also ensure aesthetics viability and sustain good water quality suitable for recreational uses including primary and secondary contact activities.
