Planting Mangroves in Vietnam (AXA & CARE)

Thanks to the support of AXA, the NGO CARE France has been working to protect people against the risks related to climate change by planting a mangrove barrier in the province of Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. In partnership with local communities, more than 80 hectares have already been planted. This helps to reduce the effects of wind and waves in this region severely affected by natural disasters over the last ten years, protecting more than 90 000 people. All this was possible thanks to the thousands of "likes" generated by the Facebook fans of AXA People Protectors on a dedicated application.
