Mangrove Forests of Moreton Bay

The mangrove forests of Moreton Bay in South East Queensland form important habitats for fisheries and wildlife as well as providing stabilisation for the shoreline. At low tide fish are concentrated in the gutters and creeks providing feeding opportunities for larger fish and birds. Crabs are important indicators of the mangrove habitat's health.
