www.ausfloodplain.org.au - Peter McClellan has watched the decline of the Macquarie Marshes on his family property Bluelight Station in Western NSW. The once abundant marshes, shown here in original 1940s black and white footage, have been sucked dry by irrigation since the Burrendong Dam was completed in 1967.
This film is one of the five part 'River Stories' series commissioned by the Australian Floodplain Association.
