Back River Project

The Back River Project is a planned gold mine in the western Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut. Based on the May 2015 Feasibility Study, the project includes the development of up to 6 mineral deposits, winter roads that that connect the sites, a Marine Laydown Area in southern Bathurst Inlet

The Big Bend Conservation Alliance (BBCA)

The Big Bend Conservation Alliance (BBCA) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the Big Bend as one of the last great, unspoiled places in Texas. The BBCA was formed in September of 2014 in response to concerns about fracking and the Trans-Pecos Pipeline.

Takshanuk Watershed Council

The Takshanuk Watersheds have supported local residents for thousands of years with a rich and abundant fishery. Five species of pacific salmon (Oncorhynchus sp.) have evolved in the mountainous landscape over thousands of years. The Chilkat, Chilkoot and Ferebee Rivers flow from headwaters in British Columbia and the Yukon Territories of Canada, into the fjords of the Upper Lynn Canal.
