Youth Stewardship Legacy Project in the Fraser basin

The Fraser Basin Council's Youth Committee's Stewardship Legacy Project aimed to engage with, learn from and profile the successes of 3 stewardship projects supported by the Fraser Salmon and Watersheds Program (FSWP) over the past six years. The 3 projects profiled are the Seton River Restoration Project, Salmon Safe and the Shuswap Lake Integrated Planning Process (SLIPP).

The project enabled the Youth Committee to connect with other youth, adults and elders to facilitate inter-generational learning and dialogue. By communicating their learning with multi-media, the FBC Youth Committee hopes to celebrate and inspire watershed stewardship across the Fraser Basin and beyond.
