Sturgeon sensation – Dramatic double discovery of a fish on the brink of extinction
From WWF : Within the space of less than a month, two specimens of a vanishingly rare fish have been plucked from the waters of the Rioni River in Georgia. Before these two juveniles were caught, conservationists had expressed fears that the critically endangered ship sturgeon might have already sunk without trace. This extraordinary, other-worldly fish – whose evolution dates back hundreds of millions of years – had not been seen alive in the wild for many years.

International Lake Constance Fishery Commission (IBKF)
The IBKF is the directory board for any matter concerning Lake Constance fishery. The board meets once a year, whereas the boards chairman changes every three years on a rotational basis. Resolutions on fishery regulations must be decided unanimously to make sure the interests of all contracting states are respected. Resolutions made by the IBKF must be implemented in national law. The decisions of the IBKF are assembled in the assemblage of resolutions.
