Pollution, invasive species, high level of nitrogen are having dramatic consequences for the health of the lake ecosystem and for the population whose livelihood depends on it. In this video, Al Duda, former GEF international water specialist, explain the case of Lake Victoria in Africa and why countries that share transboundary water systems have to work together to protect them.
