Competing Uses of Water in the Azraq Basin

The film explores the complexity of socio-economic systems, and scientifically assess drivers and pressures that led to the degradation of Azraq Oasis. It serves as a case study to explain principles of IWRM and attempts to elaborate on different management responses. This movie includes interviews with: Prof.Dr.Lars Ribbe, Reda'a Al Youness, Dr.Marwan Al-Raggad, Nour Habjoka, Dr.Odeh Al-Jayyousi, Maysoon Al-Zo'bi. Written and narrated by Marc Haering, produced and edited by Simon Kuttnick, director of photography: Robert Wiezorek, executive production by ITT/Fachhochschule Köln and WEEC/The University of Jordan.
