The Mono Lake Committee is a non-profit citizens' group dedicated to protecting and restoring the Mono Basin ecosystem, educating the public about Mono Lake and the impacts on the environment of excessive water use, and promoting cooperative solutions that protect Mono Lake and meet real water needs without transferring environmental problems to other areas.
Founded in 1996, the Sacramento River Watershed Program brings together dozens of groups and thousands of people, concerned about the health of the Sacramento River and its watershed. Covering 27,000 square miles from the Oregon border to the Delta, the Sacramento River Watershed covers most of northern California, linking every aspect of life in the region.

It provides 70% of our piped water and its valley is world renowned for its vineyards and natural beauty. It is the centrepiece of many city cultural events and plays host to sports, recreational and nature-based activities.
NBD is a network of civil society organizations from the 10 countries of the Nile Basin: Burundi, DRC, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. This network seeks to achieve positive influence over the development of projects and programmes under the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) and other Nile-related programmes.
