Land,Water and Livelihood - The Tana River Delta Story

The Tana Delta is a vast seasonal wetland complex. It is one of the most important wetlands in Africa and one of the largest freshwater wetland system in Kenya. Over the past decade, conflicts have been increasing in the Delta as a result of increasing competition for land use among new projects, natural resource conservation, and community interests.
