The Congo River - Artery of the Forest

The Congo is the world's 2nd largest watershed and gives life to the Congo by providing transportation, food, water, and economic development. Woods Hole Research Center scientists, with collaborators from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and elsewhere, are investigating how climate change and deforestation are influencing the chemistry and health of the river. Watch the video and join our epic expedition along the Congo River -- the artery of the forest.
