Upper Etowah River Alliance

The Upper Etowah River Alliance (UERA) is a community-based watershed protection group that works in the Etowah basin upstream of Lake Allatoona. We formed in 1997 to provide regional leadership to promote watershed protection strategies across the five Upper Etowah counties (Cherokee, Forsyth, Pickens, Dawson and Lumpkin). Our membership is made up of a diverse group of stakeholders.

La Subcuenca río Quindío hace parte de la Cuenca del río La Vieja, asiento principal de poblaciones, localizada en el extremo nororiental del la misma, de igual forma está haciendo parte de la Unidad de Manejo de Cuenca (UMC) río Quindío, instrumento de regionalización que para la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Quindío, CRQ permite por parte del Departamento planificar el territorio en procesos ambientales.

Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition

“Cultivate a sustainable future from a sustainable environment rooted in culture and a wild salmon ecosystem.” The Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition was founded in 2004 by a diverse group of people living and working in the Skeena river watershed. Our board of directors and membership reflects the broad interests of the people in this region.
