Pembrokeshire Rivers Trust was formed in 2002 with the aim of restoring and safeguarding the rivers, lakes and wetlands of Pembrokeshire. The Trust was awarded charitable status in 2004.. The objectives of the Trust are to promote awareness of environmental issues and best practice, promote recreational enjoyment of rivers, lakes and wetlands, undertake research and development to help restore damaged habitats

Welcome to the website of the Welsh Dee Trust. The Trust is a registered charity. The objectives are to protect, conserve, promote and enhance the River Dee and all its indigenous species of fish, animals , birds and plants . The Trust will where appropriate seek the rehabilitation of any species that is threatened or endangered. The Trust will through education increase the knowledge of the public of the need and importance of a healthy river environment.

The Observatory is made up of streams around Llyn Brianne, in central Wales, where data on organisms, chemistry and climate have been collected since 1981. The Observatory’s design – with replicate streams in contrasting land use and of different chemical character – make it unique. The record of change is among the World’s oldest of its type.
