So why would anyone want to study in tropical Southeast Asia? Thailand has a wide range of plant and animal life found nowhere else on earth. Many of the endemic species here have not been properly studied, and many are new to science altogether. Here at Sakaerat Environmental Research Station (SERS), we strive to study and understand the diversity and interactions between the various species that thrive here.
We have an extremely supportive director with exceptional staff and facilities that make it a pleasure to do research here. Support is something essential for any project's success. Here at SERS, we believe it is crucial that conservation and outreach go hand in hand. You need the support of the local people if you ever want to see your conservation efforts be successful.
