Mississippi River Hydrodynamic and Delta Management Study Signing. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the State of Louisiana's Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority held a ceremony to recognize the initiation of the Mississippi River Hydrodynamic and Delta Management Study. This study will aid in the development and long term sustainability of coastal restoration. It includes data collection, data synthesis, extension of existing modeling and new modeling efforts and will assist in determining the need, location, size and seasonal variations for planned diversions and future restoration projects.
