1   Link   Regional Workshop on Discharge and Sediment Monitoring and Geomorphological Tools for the Lower-Mekong Basin
The agenda of this workshop addresses specific issues such as consequences of hydropower development on sediment loads and morphology, and how these negative impacts can be mitigated. We will hear from modelling experts about tools for mitigating these impacts from landuse change and water resources development. We will discuss ideas for sediment discharge and monitoring with respect to other MRCS activities like water quality and biological monitoring. Participants in this workshop include representatives from government agencies, NMCs, each of the MRC programs, experts on river morphology, and
sediment experts.

3   Link   Water Base - MWSWAT model to quantify the impact of land management practices
The WaterBase project is an ongoing project of the United Nations University. Its aim is to advance the practice of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in developing countries.
On this page, you can download the MWSWAT model. SWAT is is a river basin scale model developed to quantify the impact of land management practices in large, complex watersheds.
MWSWAT is a plugin which runs into MAP WINDOW GIS software
