The Soil and Water Management Research Network (SWMnet)
The Soil and Water Management Research Network (SWMnet) is one of the networks and programmes of the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in East and Central Africa (ASARECA). SWMnet is a network of research, training and development organizations and individuals working on soil and water management for agriculture and environment in the ten countries, which are members of ASARECA. These are Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

PELUM Association - Participatory, Ecological Land Use Management
PELUM Association improves the livelihoods of small-scale farmers and the sustainability of farming communities, by fostering ecological land use management. And we've being doing so for 15 years now.
We are a network of over 200 civil society organisations in eastern, central and southern Africa. Through networking, research and lobbying, we are building the capacity of small-scale farmers.
